The very fact that so many different breeds of dogs exist is because they have been bred by dog fanciers, all of them living witnesses to natural selection, if favouring features preferred by dog show judges can be described as "natural". Even a firm belief in Creationism can be seen as demonstrating natural selection because survival of the trait is advantageous to individuals living in fundamentalist communities. While this information is quite interesting it surely doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know.
