I’ve Been Reading Some Of The Comments, And Sadly Am Let Down. They Seem To Like To Miss The Whole Point Of The Video. It Was A Small Gag To Prove The Point Of How Annoying It Is To Have Someone Wake You Up, Or Bother You In The Morning To Push Their Thoughts On You. He Wasn’t Getting The Whole Point Across Because He Wasn’t TRYING To, He Was Trying To Give An Example. Like The Title Of The Video Is Named “A Taste Of Their Own Medicine”
At A Further Note, He Isn’t Being Disrespectful To Others Religious Callings, He Was Proving A Point.

i stumbled to this and ill tell you i agree that you shouldnt of preached that we all fallow the teaching of darowism… BUT….. it didndt really matter for the point he was trying to get across… doesnt matter if all atheiest belive darwin was right or that we follow his teachings… but it the point was that they gave the more insulted reaction then most athiest … he just proved no body likes sum wun forcing there beliefs no matter what they be at 9 o clock on a saturday morning… not even mormans who do it all the time… i hope he does sumthing about jahovas they’re more forceful than the morman insistant to come in t ur house after 5 min of knocking just as early as mormans… cocky bastards…

ya know, I’ve noticed a pattern about these things. The first few posts (about 5-8) are generally overly-accepting and give an overwhelming approval rate. However, people tend to “come around” after about 10 posts. They start criticizing people for this stuff, and often for good reason. However, I don’t think the video should be criticized in and of itself- it marvelously captures the arrogance of many Jehovah’s Witnesses (and indeed other sects of Xian faith).

The video is satire- nothing more. The “monkeys) comment and the others like it are meant to reflect on the numerous contradictions that these “door-to-door- religion salesmen” use on a regular basis. Their quoting of pop music lyrics is a parody of door-to-door’s use of a “fairy tale book” as “proof” that God exists.

As for the asinine comments, well, that just goes to show you that on both the religious right and the freethinkers side of this debate, there are dumbasses that think a snide comment here or a paragraph of mockery there is funny to someone. Myself, I pride myself in being tolerant of others, given 2 conditions:
You aren’t pushing anything on me in a serious way, and
You aren’t a jackass.

Hilarious. I’ve found though, that when I’m confronted by a Mormon or JW at my door, I say as many horribly offensive things as possible, until they choose to vacate my property.

Don’t get me wrong, I know a Mormon girl who is awesome, but when you knock on my door trying to shed your bullshit beliefs on someone who didn’t ask for them, you’re asking for offensive retaliation.

@ Everyone who’s annoyed at this guy: He DID make a point; Plus, it’s hilarious, so chill out and laugh every once in a while… or is that a sin too?

That was hilarious!
I, myself, am a Christian but I also believe to respect others and their beliefs. There is nothing that bothers me more when others push their beliefs on others. And Mormons are the worst at that! Drives me nuts! That dude totally gave them what they deserve. I like how that bishop pushed him away with a broom. Who does that? But that same bishop would expect his little disciples to march around the streets and bother people at their residences and be so intrusive. Whenever they come to my door, they are so pushy, they don’t allow you to decline. They just keep pushing their message. How do they see that will work?? As a religious person, Mormons embarrass me.

I’m a Mormon, and I would like to say I found this absolutely…hilarious.
Yes, I found it funny. I don’t care that he completely critizes us, I really don’t, I just found this really funny to watch. If there are Mormons out there who find this offensive, well, they need to get a sense of humor.
